A brand is one of a company’s most valuable assets, yet without registration it is hard to protect. In this workshop, Mariia Tkachenko, Senior Associate in our IP practice, will walk you through how to secure a trademark in Ukraine and abroad.

- how to run a clearance search for similar marks;
- how to prepare an application to UKRNOIVI and choose the right classes of goods and services;
- when to use the Madrid System;
- what to do if your products are counterfeited or sold on marketplaces without permission.
Format
This is a hands-on session, not a lecture. Participants will work through examples and receive a brand protection plan template at the end. You will also be able to ask about your own situation.
